Martin Edmond is a New Zealand author and screenplay writer. His books include Streets of Music (1980), Houses, Days, Skies (1988) and The Resurrection of Philip Clairmont (1999). He studied Anthropology and English, graduating MA, Victoria University of Wellington. He worked as a junior lecturer before joining avant-garde theatre group Red Mole, as a writer and actor. He moved to Australia in 1981.
